MEDICINAL PRODUCT:
Solution for application on the skin.

ACTION MODE:
The mechanism of permethrin's effectiveness (it belongs to the group of synthetic pyrethroids) is based on influencing the ion channels of the parasitic nerve tissues. Disruption of Na + and K + ion transport in neuron membranes causes depolarization and increased neurotransmitter release and neuromuscular block formation in ectoparasites. It acts as an adulticide against ectoparasites. It is an ectoparasitic agent with a very good efficiency. Permethrin is not toxic to mammals except cats and birds, but is toxic to fish, bees, and reptiles. The drug is administered on the skin, in order to obtain mainly a local effect. The preparation contains a complex combination of excipients, which form a system that allows the absorption of the active substance in the upper layers of the skin (the stratum corneum, the upper layer of the epidermis) where it forms an additive focus. Subsequently, the preparation is released in time from the outbreak around the place of application. A recommended dose of TOP SPOT ON STRONGER provides protection against ticks for up to 4 weeks and against fleas for up to 2 months.

SPECIAL WARNING (S):
Do not smoke, eat or drink during the application of the preparation. Avoid contact of the contents of the pipette with the mucosa of the animal and the person applying the preparation. Protect your eyes from contact with the preparation. Wash your hands with soap and water after each application. In case of intensive use of the preparation, it is necessary to use neoprene gloves with a thickness of at least 3 mm (for example in kennels or animal shelters). After application, contact with animals should be avoided for a period of 12 to 24 hours, in particular it is not recommended to lie down next to the treated animals; their direct exposure to sunlight should also be avoided. Avoid contact of children with the treated animal for 24 hours. Animals will not be bathed for 12 hours after treatment. Shampooing may reduce the protective effect of the preparation. Brushes that have been used on dogs treated 48 hours before will not be used on cats to avoid contact with toxic substances from dogs. If such brushes are used in cats, and there are signs of intoxication, we should consult a veterinarian. Due to the fact that the place where the animals are kept for deworming is considered to be infested with fleas and ticks, an appropriate insecticide should be used.
