Solution for application on the skin.
The mechanism of permethrin's effectiveness (it belongs to the group of synthetic pyrethroids) is based on influencing the ion channels of the parasitic nerve tissues. Disruption of Na + and K + ion transport in neuron membranes causes depolarization and increased neurotransmitter release and neuromuscular block formation in ectoparasites. It acts as an adulticide against ectoparasites. It is an ectoparasitic agent with a very good efficiency. Permethrin is not toxic to mammals except cats and birds, but is toxic to fish, bees, and reptiles. The drug is administered on the skin, in order to obtain mainly a local effect. The preparation contains a complex combination of excipients, which form a system that allows the absorption of the active substance in the upper layers of the skin (the stratum corneum, the upper layer of the epidermis) where it forms an additive focus. Subsequently, the preparation is released in time from the outbreak around the place of application. A recommended dose of TOP SPOT ON STRONGER provides protection against ticks for up to 4 weeks and against fleas for up to 2 months.
Prophylaxis and treatment of ectoparasitosis in dogs - fleas and ticks.
Do not use in cats, the preparation is toxic to cats! Do not use in puppies under 3 weeks of age.
Temporary skin irritation may be observed at the site of application. If this happens, flush the area with water.
They don't know each other
Before application, the hair should be brushed aside, and the solution is applied directly to the skin, using a pipette. If dogs are wet or shampooed, treatment should be repeated.
Under 15 kg - apply the contents of a pipette (1 ml) to the skin between the shoulders of small animals (Dog S, or a pipette in the large package).
Between 15 and 30 kg - apply the contents of two pipettes (2 x 1 ml) on the skin between the shoulder blades and the base of the tail to medium-sized dogs (Dog M or 2 pipettes in the large package).
Over 30 kg - apply the contents of 3 pipettes (3 x 1 ml) on the skin between the shoulder blades, the middle of the back and the base of the tail to large dogs (Dog L or 3 pipettes from the large package).
Before application, the hair should be removed to one side, then the solution is applied directly to the skin, using a pipette. The preparation should not be rubbed on the skin. If dogs are wet or shampooed, treatment should be repeated. The interval between individual treatments should be at least 7 days.
SPECIAL WARNING (S):
Do not smoke, eat or drink during the application of the preparation. Avoid contact of the contents of the pipette with the mucosa of the animal and the person applying the preparation. Protect your eyes from contact with the preparation. Wash your hands with soap and water after each application. In case of intensive use of the preparation, it is necessary to use neoprene gloves with a thickness of at least 3 mm (for example in kennels or animal shelters). After application, contact with animals should be avoided for a period of 12 to 24 hours, in particular it is not recommended to lie down next to the treated animals; their direct exposure to sunlight should also be avoided. Avoid contact of children with the treated animal for 24 hours. Animals will not be bathed for 12 hours after treatment. Shampooing may reduce the protective effect of the preparation. Brushes that have been used on dogs treated 48 hours before will not be used on cats to avoid contact with toxic substances from dogs. If such brushes are used in cats, and there are signs of intoxication, we should consult a veterinarian. Due to the fact that the place where the animals are kept for deworming is considered to be infested with fleas and ticks, an appropriate insecticide should be used. The preparation is toxic to cats, fish, reptiles and bees.
Not intended for animal feed.
