FOR DOGS
Melocam – Meloxicam Oral Suspension (for dogs), 32 ml / 48 mg. The exact dosage is not shown on the package, but in general, for oral meloxicam for dogs, the typical dosage is:
- Initial dose: 0.2 mg/kg body weight, once.
- Maintenance dose: 0.1 mg/kg once daily (every 24 hours), orally.
Example:
For a 10 kg dog:
- Day 1: 2 mg (0.2 mg/kg × 10 kg)
- Following days: 1 mg/day
The suspension contains 48 mg in 32 ml → 1 ml contains 1.5 mg meloxicam
So, a 10 kg dog would receive:
- Day 1: ~1.33 ml
- Following days: ~0.67 ml/day
FOR CATS
Melocam 0.05%
Meloxicam Oral Suspension (For Cats)
- Main ingredient: Meloxicam
- Nature: This product is an orange-yellow suspension
- Indication: Used to relieve inflammation and pain in cats
Dosage and Administration:
Oral use only.
Initial dose: 0.2 ml per 1 kg of body weight on the first day.
Maintenance dose: 0.1 ml per 1 kg of body weight per day.
Shake well before use.
Give once daily, for 3–4 days.
