Drontal Puppy 50 ml is a suspension for fighting nematodes in puppies. It's a synthetic anthelmintic, which is administered starting with the 14th day of life.
1 ml of Drontal Puppy suspension contains Febantel 15.0 mg and Pyrantelembonate 14.4 mg
The two anthelmintic substances in the composition of the suspension have a synergistic action.
The feverfew exerts its action by affecting the parasitic metabolism, thus producing the destruction of worms.
Pyrantelembonate causes inhibition of neuromuscular function and paralysis of worms.
INDICATIONS:
Drontal puppy is effective against puppy nematodes:
Canine ascaridosis: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina.
Canid hookworm: Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum.
Canine trichurosis: Trichuris vulpis.
The drug is not effective against cestodes. To combat them, it is recommended to administer Drontal Plus tablets.
If the infestation occurred intrauterine or galactogenic, the treatment can be applied starting at the age of 14 days and will be repeated after 2 weeks.
The parasites are destroyed 2-3 days after treatment.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
It is administered in a dose of 1 ml / kg body weight.
The suspension will be mixed in the animal's feed or administered directly, using the pump in the bottle.
By pressing the pump, 1 ml of suspension is administered.
No diet required.
