ENTEROGUARD M tablets are used for the prevention (in confirmed herds) and the treatment of primary and secondary enteropathies caused by bacteria sensitive to active substances and infections with flagellated protozoa, in dogs, cats, cage birds and poultry (canaries, parrots), pigeons and ornamental pigeons, mink, ferrets.
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients. It is not given to young people under the age of 4 weeks.
Do not administer to pigeons intended for human consumption.

DOSAGE, ROUTES AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
- In dogs, cats, mink, ferrets, the product is used as such or as a suspension in drinking water, after a previous crushing, in a dose of 1 tablet / 3 kg body weight / day, for 3 consecutive days.
- In the case of carrier and ornamental pigeons, cage birds and poultry, the product is used as such or in the form of a suspension, after prior crushing, in a dose of 1/2 tablet / 1.25 kg body weight / day, respectively 1 / 4 tablet for 0.5 - 0.6 kg body weight / day for 5 consecutive days.
Preventive (in the herds in which the diagnosis was confirmed):
The product is administered at half the recommended therapeutic dose.
In all cases, it is recommended that ENTEROGUARD M tablets be combined with vitamins.
ADVICE ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
To ensure correct dosing, the body weight of the animals should be accurately determined, whenever possible, to avoid underdosing.

The product should not be administered concomitantly with aluminum-based antacids or preparations containing Ca, Mg or Fe, due to the occurrence of chelating reactions with tetracyclines.

In case of acute intoxication, symptomatic therapy and general measures to support the animal should be initiated.
